First-time collaboration between family, friends and co-workers to celebrate Janet's much-loved spirit. Form built and poured by me (thanks to cement pouring crew Pete and Dale!), mosaic designed by Janet's community based on images of her favorite flowers. Janet's bench now makes its home in the corner of Maxwell Street Community Gardens on 13th and Racine Avenue, where those who remember Janet will see the Sears Tower while sitting there.
